New space, where it was important to combine consistency, structuring with creative chaos, filled with various experiments.
Librarium is a complex micro-world created by our bureau starting from the general concept of the brand, the name, the whole identity, the communication representation of the brand to the staff uniform and the interior design with all the equipment.
Our task was to create a new space, where it was important to combine consistency, structuring with creative chaos, filled with various experiments. It was also important to combine different product groups and unite all this into a natural mix. Therefore, a basic idea has arisen, namely, creating a kind of a library of all possible development tools. The word “librarium” is from Latin translated as “a box for book storage”. Consequently, the entire store space has been built around the library’s image with boxes/blocks of grouped and assembled materials/tools. Librarium is an area of development where you can choose your tool/ “a book” according to your level or choose a new tool for improvement.
The entrance area is a candy bar – here pencils, felt pens, erasers and various trinkets are sold in jars separately, like sweets. They are so colourful and “tasty”! Around the holiday mood of the candy bar, we have also formed an area of gifts, notebooks, sketchbooks, postcards, gift paper, which allows the entrance area to be filled with an atmosphere of inspiration and joy for the customer.
In general, the entire space of the store is formed in soft pink and mint tints, a light floor and natural wood add to the atmosphere of softness, dreaminess and ease. The entrance area is more open and allows you to view the elements and focus points of the rest of the store. The basic equipment is high, as we started from the image of the library. These are carefully designed groups, sequences of products shelves that create more closed areas where people can reflect on their own ideas and pick up everything they need on their own, as in the library we choose books that we would like to read. In addition, in this area we have one of the main elements – the mood board table. These are original workplaces or home workshops, which show the samples of materials that you can test, the examples of ready-made things from the materials of the store. Here, customers can try what they are interested in, they can create something themselves. It is also a space for master classes and the active communication between the store and the customer. Here you can see photos from the workshops, as well as novelties that can inspire people for new development and creativity.
The symbol of the store is an elephant – this is a cute character that has come to admire a variety of wonderful things as if it is “in the dish store”. It is also a photo area and a magnet\an attraction for children.
We have turned the cash desk into an island table – a library archive with hundreds of drawers. This has allowed us to make it one of the main visual mood emphasis of the space and thus it has taken away the feeling of “ordinary shopping” from customers. After all, the main thing that we want to achieve is that the people, who come to Librarium with their ideas, are inspired and come out with the desire to create and to develop, and they have the necessary tools in their hands.
The concept of the leader store of Gorgany is the expedition. This is not about the tourist equipment or clothes. This is a story about adventures, travelling, new horizons and peaks.
