For the first fish store in Ukraine by Egersund seafood we created the unique image(microworld) of the company and designed exclusive equipment for the shop. The project inspiration comes from the natural landscape of Norwegian north coast, from which all the Egersund seafood production comes from. The visual decision of facade is based on typical forms of Norwegian modern architecture – distinct lines, broken forms and active diagonals. Inside we used the images of horizontal infinity of North sea and laconic geometric lines of icebergs.

Specially for Egersund seafood we designed new equipment for fish display cases. There are special fishing rods, which lift the herrings from the bottom of tubs, which are located inside the case. These rods lift the lids with freshly sorted fish, by basing on the spinning principle. It gives an opportunity to always provide an appetizing look of the fish and create an interesting interactive activity for visitors. The form of fishing rods was designed by basing on the form of rod for shark catching. Every display case in the shop was created according to the temperature regime of fish exposition. The biggest complete display case is 8 metres long.
